JULY EVENT RECAP: Belleville - 76th Anniversary of Landing in Sicily Day with the Hasty Ps

The Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign and our partners at Frank Cowan Company were honoured to participate in a special event to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of Landing in Sicily Day with the Hasty Ps in Belleville on July 10th, 2019.

Joined by MP Neil Ellis, Belleville Mayor Mitch Manciuk, David Joyce from MPP Todd Ellis' Office, family members of honoured soldiers, Cobourg Mayor John Henderson, Larry Ryan & Debra Murphy of Frank Cowan Company, we planted two memorial trees next to the cenotaph at the Belleville Armouries.
