November 3rd marked the Highway of Heroes Living Tribute 2nd Anniversary.

To celebrate this and in honour Remembrance Day, 300 trees, plants, and shrubs were planted at Trenton Greenbelt Conservation Area, just off the Highway of Heroes.

The afternoon sun was a beautiful addition to the planting.  Representatives from the CFB Trenton, Quinte West, Lower Trent Conservation, Frank Cowan Company and TD Bank were all in attendance to help honour our Veterans and plant a tree for the tribute.

With the help of local families and volunteers, 300 Canadian fallen soldiers have been honoured and their memory memorialized in this living, breathing tribute.

This tree planting event was made possible by the generosity of:

Frank Cowan Company, TD Bank, Lower Trent Conservation Authority and Vineland Research & Innovation Centre.
