Ontario Contributes 880,000 Trees to Living Tribute
Milton, ON [June 28, 2021] – More than 880,000 new trees have been planted across Ontario this spring in honour of Canadian veterans, thanks to the combined efforts of the Highway of Heroes (HOH) Tree Campaign and Forests Ontario. These newly planted seedlings are adding to an existing green monument along Canada’s busiest highway.
PLP Program in Full Swing Thanks to our Partnership with Forests Ontario
Thanks to our partnership with Forests Ontario, we were able to expand our Private Landowner Partnership Program to 30km from the highway 401, between Windsor and Cornwall. This expansion means that more landowners can get involved in having a piece of the worlds largest living tribute in their own backyard.
