How much does a tree cost?

A Highway of Heroes Tree is $150.  This price includes the cost of the tree, as well as the professional services that are required to install the tree along the highway.  Generally, we aim to plant trees that are 1.5 metres tall, as these are most likely to thrive. The cost also includes significant soil remediation because the ground is often heavily compacted and filled with sand and gravel as a result of decades of highway construction.  We also want to give newly planted trees every chance to survive, so a portion of your gift is dedicated to the maintenance of young trees.

Gift in Remembrance/Honour:

Either online or in a note accompanying your cheque, you can dedicate your tree to a fallen soldier, or to whomever you wish (child, grandchild, loved one) by providing us with their name.  Certificates are included for gifts of $150 or more, and will be sent to your attention.  For gifts below $150, certificates may be purchased for an additional $15.
