1000 trees in Downsview Park

A perfect fall day greeted almost 150 volunteers over several hours at historic Downsview Park in Toronto to plant trees in support of the Living Tribute. Located just north of the 401 Highway on the site that was once CFB Toronto, this park is a great example of urban renewal with a strong focus on renaturalization and increasing the urban tree cover.img_3742 img_3738 img_3733 img_3731 img_3729
