Scott Bryk, Executive Director
Scott is a successful entrepreneur who is passionate about connecting with people through his passion for business and the environment. He is the Executive Director of The Highway of Heroes Living Tribute project and is responsible for all aspects of the Tribute’s success.
He enjoys speaking about the concept of The Triple Bottom Line – ensuring that social, economic, and environmental profits flow to stakeholders and communities throughout Canada. He is an avid believer in the 1% Model of Corporate philanthropy.
He most recently served as the Canadian President of The Grounds Guys, one of North America’s fastest growing lawn care and grounds maintenance companies with over 200 locations.
Scott is the past chair of the Canadian Franchise Association Government Relations subcommittee. He is the vice president of Landscape Ontario’s environmental committee and he serves as treasurer on the board of Team Futures – a high performance gymnastics centre.
He enjoys spreading his love of business and a healthy outdoor lifestyle through Come Alive Outside. This inspiring program facilitates collaborative community systems that create the awareness, intention and opportunity for people to live healthier lives outside.
Born and raised in Palgrave, Ontario, in the heart of Southern Ontario’s GreenBelt, Scott enjoys spending time in nature with his wife Christine and their four children, Max, Vanessa, Riley and Carter. Scott is also a World War II aviation enthusiast and enjoys attending air shows. When not at work you’ll find Scott out running, and training for his next marathon or multi-sport activity.
